PLEASE HELP!

I just recently heard about an island made up of trash in our Pacific Ocean. I did a quick google search this morning and here is the first part of the series. I am disgusted...mainly by the amount of unknown out there. This island has been around since the 1950's and has been growing immensely in the past few decades. I am sure there are many other stories out there that I don't know about and there will continue to be more. But the more aware we are about how our actions effect the rest of the world, the more we can make better decisions. It's not easy by any means.

I have been away from the blog for awhile....not even sure why. We left town for a family wedding and then I sort of forgot about it. I have A LOT saved up on my camera to post about. Since it is a long weekend and it will be raining the whole time here in Portland, I am thinking I will get caught up on the blog. So bare with me, it might be a bit of overload, but I love when I open my favorite blog and hit the jackpot of back stories! So I hope you all enjoy.

Disclaimer: This is a tad long, seven minutes, but he goes through a lot of info quickly. I will try to write more about our green efforts in an attempt to spread the tips with each of you. All we can do is try.
